Ebadur Rahman

Ebadur Rahman is a 2nd year PhD student in the Religion Department in the Islam track. He completed a four year pilot seminary program at Zaytuna Institute (now College) in the San Francisco Bay Area and earned a B.A. at New York University in the Gallatin School of Individualized Studies, with a concentration in Islam in America. Ebad is interested in exploring early modern Qur'anic exegesis, particularly in the works of an Ottoman Baghdadi scholar by the name of Abu al-Thana' al-Alusi (1802-1854).
