Ebad(ur) Rahman is a PhD candidate in the Religion Department in the Islam track. Ebad's doctoral work examines questions surrounding religious authority and contemporary Islamic thought. Ebad earned his M.A. and M.Phil. at Columbia. He earned a B.A. at New York University in the Gallatin School of Individualized Studies, with a concentration in Islam in America. He also completed a four year seminary program at Zaytuna Institute in the San Francisco Bay Area.
