Biography
Morgan Bass Roper is an M.A. student in the Department of Religion whose seeks to examine how religious ideas shape institutions, social movements, and struggles over power and belonging in American public life. Before graduate study, she spent over a decade in corporate leadership, most recently at BNY, where she led the global early careers recruiting team and oversaw the firm’s employee resource group strategy and volunteer and corporate philanthropy programming, globally. She is a member of St. Mark’s Church in-the-Bowery, where she serves on the Stewardship Committee.
